Russborough House

Russborough house was purchased by Sir Alfred and Lady Beit in 1952 and used to house his own family's large collection of work by many great artists including Goya, Verneer, Rubens and Thomas Gainsborough. This collection was robbed 4 times, the most well known case was in 1986 by Martin Cahill nicknamed "The General". The house features in two movies The General and Haywire.
